Udate on our favorite missionary!

Adam has been in Buenos Aires for a little over three months now. He lives in an area known as Congreso, which is smack dab downtown Buenos Aires. It is winter there now and by all reports, it is VERY cold! Adam is progressing well with his language skills, but is frustrated that he can't communicate as fully as he would like to, especially when teaching the gospel. He loves the food (for the most part), and has met many wonderful people. He is teaching several families right now that he thinks will surely be baptized. We are very proud of his hard work and committment!

With Elder Allen, his first companion and trainer

Adam lived in an apartment with the zone leaders, Elders Vidmar and Roberts. Here they are at a bowling alley on p-day.

This was the view from Adam's balcony on a very smokey day. Wild fires from the north caused this condition, and the missionaries were not allowed out of their apartments for three days!

This is the same view on a normal day.

This is the "Casa Rosada," Argentina's equivalent to the White House.

A typical missionary bedroom!

P-day usually involves eating out. Elder Swan says the food is delicious!

Elder Swan and his "roomies" sitting in a soccer stadium. Soccer is BIG, BIG, BIG there!

Some teenagers came up to Adam and Elder Allen, trying to speak some English. When they heard the elders speak Spanish, they were amazed. Adam is now pictured in about six of their cell phones!
