A Fun Week with the Fam!

We had a great week together at the end of June, as Matt and Kat were able to come visit during Matt's break, and Mike and Steph took a break from their moving preparations. We went swimming at the Rec. Center, played badminton in our backyard, had a Wii tournament, spent the day at Liberty Park (Tracy Aviary, picnic, the water play area, etc.), camped at Cherry Hill, and had a special dinner and good-bye party for Mike, Stephanie, and Ethan. It was a special week for Wayne and I, having most of our kids all together before the married couples leave to begin or continue their adventures in graduate school.
It was a hot week, but we stayed cool swimming at Cherry Hill,

enjoying the "Lazy River" there,

keeping our sun hats on,

or drinking an ice cold bottle of water (and having half of it end up on his tummy kept Caleb extra cool!).

And then there were the WATER SLIDES!

Steph and Michael

Kat (pregnancy was not going to slow HER down!)

Matt and Michael (they were having more fun than it looks!)

Steph and Mom (that really is me behind Stephanie)

Other activities at Cherry Hill included batting cages (that's "Slugger Wayne),

rock climbing (Matt),

and a tiring game of "Aeroball" (that's Mike and Matt, with Steph and Michael hidden in the other two sections).

Caleb was happy if he had some bubbles to blow,

and Ethan was just happy to be outside!

The best part of the week was having our two precious grandsons together. Caleb was always willing to give Ethan kisses, and Ethan loved watching his older cousin run around and play. It will be fun to watch them grow and develop that special cousin bond.

So, what's up, cuz?

Hey, this cousin thing is fun!
